Experience the Trent-Severn by Boat
Stretching 386 kilometers from Lake Ontario to Georgian Bay, the Trent-Severn Waterway offers a unique combination of historic locks, scenic waterways, lakeside communities and outdoor experiences.
For travelers looking to experience Music on the Water, a houseboating vacation provides an opportunity to make the journey part of the adventure. Le Boat’s Peterborough base provides access to routes through the Kawartha Lakes and along the Trent-Severn Waterway from Trenton to Kirkfield, with itineraries that can include destinations such as Peterborough, Lakefield, Burleigh Falls, Buckhorn and Bobcaygeon.
Le Boat vacations do not require a boating license, and guests receive instruction before setting out on their journey, making it possible for first-time boaters to captain their own holiday. “Music has a way of bringing people together, and there’s something particularly special about experiencing live music beside the water,” says Lisa Mclean, Marketing Manager at Le Boat. “Music on the Water gives visitors another way to connect with the communities along the Trent-Severn while enjoying the freedom of travelling by boat.”
