The idea behind the Grant Center is simple: there is money available, but finding the right opportunities can be time consuming and difficult. The People’s Chamber built the Grant Center to make that process easier.

• Opportunities from multiple trusted funding sources - Users can also access official funding source links to review eligibility requirements, deadlines and application information directly from the organization offering the opportunity.

“Finding a grant is only the beginning,” Hardie said. “People also need to understand whether they qualify, what they need to apply and where to get help. Our goal is to continue building the Grant Center into a resource that supports more of that process.”

FREE ACCESS IS PART OF THE MISSION

The People’s Chamber has made free access a central part of its model.

The organization offers a free Chamber membership level, free business resources and free public access to search the Grant Center.

“We don’t want cost to be the reason someone can’t even look for an opportunity,” Hardie said. “You shouldn’t have to pay us just to find out that a grant exists.”
